DESCRIPTION:Join the Bowman Museum as we celebrate Crook County history and America’s 250th Anniversary with our special Community Caboose Display! \nBeginning June 1 (while supplies last)\, pick up a wooden caboose at the museum and decorate it to reflect Crook County history\, local landmarks\, family stories\, or patriotic pride. Use paint\, photographs\, fabric\, markers\, or any creative materials to make your caboose unique. \nReturn your completed caboose to the museum by August 31 to be included in our community display opening in September. Participants of all ages are encouraged to join the fun and help celebrate our shared history and community spirit! \nHow to Participate \n\nPick up a wooden caboose at the Bowman Museum beginning June 1\nDecorate your caboose with a historical or patriotic theme\nReturn your completed caboose by August 31\nVisit the museum in September to view the community display\n\nCommunity Caboose Display FAQ \nWho can participate?\nEveryone is welcome! Individuals\, families\, classrooms\, businesses\, and community groups are encouraged to participate. \nIs there a cost to participate?\nNo. Participation is free. \nAre there decoration rules?\nPlease keep all designs family-friendly and respectful. Avoid using materials that are fragile\, hazardous\, or perishable. \nWhen is the caboose due back?\nCompleted cabooses should be returned to the Bowman Museum by August 31. \nWill the cabooses be displayed publicly?\nYes! Completed cabooses will be featured in a special community exhibit at the museum in September. \nCan I put my name on my caboose?\nYes\, but it is not required. Participants may include their name\, family name\, classroom\, or organization. \nWill I get my caboose back?\nYes. Hampton\, alongside the talented members of the Oregon chapter of the International Western Music Association (IWMA).
