Around the Campfire: Open Mic
June 28 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Free
Come celebrate 80 years of the Crooked River Round Up at the Bowman Museum with Around the Campfire: Open Mic, an afternoon of Western music and cowboy poetry, happening Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Bowman Museum.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just want to enjoy the show, this is a great opportunity to gather with friends and neighbors, honor our heritage, and have a little fun around the “campfire.” Hosted by Tom Swearingen, a two-time Male Poet of the Year with the International Western Music Association (IWMA), this free, family-friendly event invites performers of all ages to share songs, stories, and poems inspired by the spirit of the West.
Sign-ups begin on site at 12:30 PM and are first come, first served. Each performer will have up to six minutes to take the stage, so dust off your boots, warm up your voice, and get ready to entertain! Prizes will be awarded to Judges’ Choice “Top Hands,” so bring your best.
Presented in partnership with the International Western Music Association (IWMA) and Juni Art.
