The Bowman Museum, Rural Oregon Community Foundation (ROCF), and International Western Music Association (IWMA) Columbia Chapter is proud to announce the upcoming Fall Cowboy Gathering, a premier celebration of Western music and cowboy poetry taking place on September 26-27 in Prineville, Oregon. Known as the Cowboy Capital of Oregon,  Prineville will serve as the backdrop for this two-day immersive cultural experience.

The weekend kicks off on Saturday, September 26, at the Bowman Museum with a series of free community events.

IWMA Talent Showcase happens at Bowman Museum- FREE ADMISSION – SATURDAY Sept. 26th — 1 to 3:30 p.m.
The Open Mic session continues at Bowman Museum – FREE ADMISSION – from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM

This year’s event will feature western superstar R.W. Hampton, alongside the talented members of the Oregon chapter of the International Western Music Association (IWMA). The IWMA supports the preservation and performance of cowboy poetry and the musical traditions of the American West. Together, they’ll celebrate and help preserve the cowboy poetry, music, stories, and traditions of the American West.
