The sights, sounds, and excitement of the Crook County Fair are almost here—and we’re excited to be part of the fun! This year, the Crook County Historical Society and Bowman Museum will have a booth at the fair and will be featuring a special exhibit, “The History of the Crook County Fair,” created in partnership with the Crook County Fairgrounds.
Come stroll through decades of fair history, from blue ribbons and prize-winning livestock to carnival rides, parades, and the traditions that have brought our community together for generations. You might even spot a familiar face—or remember a story you’d forgotten!
While you’re at the fair, make time to visit the Ranchers Memorial, which will be open one day only – Friday, August 7, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. It’s a wonderful place to honor and explore the ranching community. We hope you’ll stop by to say hello, bring your family and friends, and share your own favorite fair memories with us. We love hearing your stories—they’re an important part of preserving our local history! We look forward to seeing you at the fair and celebrating Crook County’s heritage together!
